FAQ

We'd like to book! Now what?

Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and a 50% retainer invoice to officially reserve your date. After those are submitted, we're set! From there, I’m available to help with timeline guidance, answer questions, and support you throughout the planning process- so when your wedding day arrives, everything feels easy and intentional. About three months before your wedding, you’ll receive a pre-wedding questionnaire that helps me better understand your details, timing, priorities, and what matters most to you.

Will you help us with posing?

Absolutely. I offer gentle guidance when needed, especially during portraits, while leaving plenty of room for natural movement and real interaction. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and like yourselves, not overly posed or stiff. I also take pride in knowing when to quietly step back and let moments unfold naturally to be documented authentically.

FAQ

What if you’ve never shot at our venue?

I regularly photograph weddings at venues I haven’t worked at before. I scout the space ahead of time, view other galleries, read the light/environment, and adapt quickly. This ensures your images feel cohesive, intentional, and reflective of the experience, no matter the location.

How long will it take to get my pictures?

You can expect your full gallery within 8-15 weeks. Your images will be delivered in an online gallery where you can view, download, and share them easily. You'll also receive a preview featuring some highlight images a few days after the wedding.

FAQ

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! Travel is one of my favorite parts of this work. I photograph weddings throughout the East Coast region with a primary focus on NYC, Philadelphia, and the surrounding areas. I'm always excited for a new trip!

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel is typically included for weddings within the New York City and Philadelphia regions. For locations further out of range, any additional travel expenses are discussed transparently in advance so there are no surprises.

FAQ

Do you have a second shooter?

I work with a trusted group of second photographers who share the same standards and approach as I do. These relationships stem from years of networking and collaborating within the wedding photography community. My partner, Ian, who you may have seen mentioned in my reviews, has been my primary second shooter for the past ten years. While he’s now taking on fewer weddings as he focuses on his own creative endeavors, he still joins me when availability allows. Regardless, you will have a trustworthy experience with whoever I hire to work alongside me for your day.

I'm interested in film- what's this process like?

Film brings a timeless, editorial quality to your images. These features include soft tones, subtle contrast, and a sense of atmosphere that feels both natural and intentional. I use it to capture moments, portraits, and details in a way that highlights the emotion and texture of your day. Paired with digital coverage, it creates a cohesive gallery that feels elevated, authentic, and distinctly yours.

Once your film is developed and scanned by my trusted film lab, the high-resolution scans are included alongside your digital files in your gallery. This way, you’ll receive a complete collection of both film and digital images, ready to view, download, and share.

FAQ

Are engagement sessions included in our wedding package?

Engagement sessions are not included, mostly due to servicing such a vast area of the East Coast. Booking an engagement session is a meaningful way to dedicate time and energy to building a connection. This investment ensures we establish trust and ease in front of the camera, which translates to a smoother, more authentic, and elevated experience on your wedding day.

Do you have insurance/backup gear?

Yes! I can provide a Certificate of Insurance for any venue. On wedding days, I carry backup cameras, extra SD cards, and batteries to ensure everything is captured. My camera bodies feature dual SD card slots, so images are recorded to two cards simultaneously at all times, providing added security and peace of mind.
